What's going on in the mysterious world of Super Villain?   Nothing much...

12/10/00: Check the main page for the latest news, because that's all that there is.

10/08/00: We've decided to end the sexiest member contest.  Petey won.  We beat him up.  In case anyone cares, the final tally was as follows:

Petey: 22
Joe: 13
Dylan: 10
Carl: 5
Ro: 1
(Duplicate Voters Ignored)

Please remember that this is just a small sample of the American population, and that we firmly believe that Carl is much sexier.  We've also changed the vote now to "Who could drink who under the table?"

10/23/2000 - It seems that the conflicts in the middle east have halted all the shows that we would have been playing.  Not really, we just don't have anything exciting to say so we just make up excuses.

10/02/2000 - We played a show a few days ago, it was fun.   Mailing list coming soon, our producer isn't calling us back about the CD, so who the fuck knows whats going on.  Lots and lots of drugs, can't really see straight, school is the devil, new Less than Jake is good, new Catch 22 is good, new Super Villain is good too.

8/25/2000 - Finally, at least a small update.  I added more pictures, I put up a lyrics page, because I just know that everyone was so damn excited to see them, I updated the shows page to reflect our upcoming show in Bogota, and as a small piece of trivial information: we've decided on cover art, and we have our track list finalized.  Doesn't it look awesome?  Yes, that's professor kitzel.  Okay, well, that's enough of that.  Back to the page.  Oh, one more thing, promo copies of the CD will begin to float around soon.  So if you see the ominous red cover with black text, try to grab onto it and listen to it.

7/26/2000 - Since the page hasn't been updated in forever and a few days, this is just to let people know that we're not dead.  We haven't done much because Dylan is in Australia, and Joe and I are both going on vacations during the week that Dylan gets back.  *sigh*  Oh well.

7/5/2000 - Hey!  Great news!  We're out of school, doing nothing, and have no shows coming up!  And PF113 finally got PF113.com!   And we still haven't gotten supervillainonline.com even though we registered almost a month before them!  Isn't that great?  Is this entire entry reeking of sarcasm?  Probably not.  </sarcasm>  As far as recording, we're almost done, and we've already spent quite a bit of money now, and all we have to do is mix everything down.  And then we have to wait two months to get the CDs duplicated.   *sigh*  It's worth it though, I think.

5/31/2000 - Haven't updated this part of the page in a while, so here's a list of everything that we're worried about: money, shows, and road tests.   But hey, look at it this way: with the road test done, we'll be able to get to shows and make money!  We've spent 22 hours in the studio so far, and we're gonna go back and finish everything soon.  Please stay patient!  If you don't stay patient, we're going to send JOGO to your house for behavior modification.  So think: wait for the CD, behavior modification.  Wait for the CD, behavior modification.   Personally I'd rather wait for the CD.  It's kind of like that movie "A Clockwork Orange" but backwards and it has nothing to do with our CD.

5/20/2000 - We spent 10 hours in the studio today, and we still have more work to do, believe it or not.  We laid down 11 basic tracks, and began punching in the screwed up parts and overdubbing parts to make them sound cooler.  It sounds absolutely AMAZING, and we haven't even added on the vocals or done the mixing yet.   Let us tell you that this is gonna be one seriously ass-kicking CD.  So much so, in fact, that we may go back in to the studio at a different time and add more tracks to it.  Here's the basic summary: We should have everything done within the month, because we are going back in to the studio tomorrow for the rest of the dubbing and the vocals.  Then, hopefully, on Monday (5/22), we'll have the mixing done.  Then, by the end of the week, we should have our copies, and then we'll throw up a sample on the internet.  No, sorry, we can't post everything.  Otherwise people would just download the songs and we'd be selling no CDs.  Did we mention that we have a show coming up on June 2nd?

5/12/2000 - Time for a new pedal for me, Dylan is gonna replace the heads on his drums, and Joe will look as sexy as ever (inside joke, you must join our fan club to understand).  Speaking of fan clubs, HEY SILLA!  Oh yeah, we're recording on May 20th.  Aren't you excited?  Here's the basic idea: we're gonna record as much as we can, so that you can purchase it and enjoy it.  Hey, want to buy some stuff?   Tell us and we'll make it.  That'll be cool.

5/3/2000 - Because Microsoft Frontpage 98 sucks, there was a weird bug that caused all of the pages to have the wrong link to the guestbook.   Thus, no guestbook link worked properly.  But we fixed it.  Oh yeah, come to the Boston Rock-a-thon, May 5th, 8-10PM at the Nanuet High School Auditorium.

4/24/2000 - We installed a website traffic recorder on our MP3.com site, and we've learned something very interesting.  More than 4 / 5 hits that don't come from Rockland or Bergen counties come from other countries.  To be more specific, Germany, Chile, Brazil, the UK, and in summary, mostly non-english speaking countries.  So: we're gonna try to talk someone into translating part of this site into German and Spanish, or something, because most of our hits are from countries that speak those two languages.  Oddly enough, we also got a hit from a New Zealand government bureau.  Don't they have anything better to do with their time?

4/16/2000 - Just a quick brush up.  We added the Survey page, so please, go take the survey.  It'll help us understand you better, you friggin crazy piece of trash!  Just kidding, you're not really crazy trash.  Except for you.  Yes, you.  We also just threw in the stuff about Melanie's surprise birthday party that we played.  It was a fun show, albeit extremely small.

4/14/2000 - I, Petey, figured I'd just make a quick update for the page before spring break started for me, because after tonight, I'm probably not going to be home much.  Hehehe.  Regardless, here's the status of our studio recording: our producer (Burr) is in Germany on tour, so we're temporarily on hold.  No, that's not a joke.  He's really in Germany.  But when he gets back, we're going to head into the studio and record a 6 to 10 song demo / self promoted EP.  As with all our stuff, it'll be available on MP3.com.  In other news, we're all going to be kicking back and enjoying a well deserved vacation.
